Tommasi Valpolicella Ripasso is made by one of the original producers of this famous style of red wine, where fresh juice is fermented on Amarone skins. It has a deep ruby red in colour and rich spicy perfumes and black pepper notes with a hint of raisins. The blend of 70% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondinella and 5% Corvinone aged for 18 months in Slavonian Oak barrels of 65 hectoliters generates a full bodied wine with balanced taste, very intense and spicy with sweet cherry flavours that make it a natural companion to both white and red meat, game as well as fresh and aged cheeses.
