Toad Physic Gin 50cl

Toad Physic Gin is crafted by The Oxford Artisan Distillery, the first certified organic grain-to-glass distillery in the UK. Founded by Tom Nicolson in the historical city of Oxford, the distillery’s spirits are made with total provenance from seed-to-still using local organic farms to grow exclusive heritage grain. The grain is distilled in the centre of Oxford in bespoke, handmade copper stills which Tom especially commissioned from South Devon Railway Engineering, being one of the last great coppersmiths in England.

Physic Gin is the first gin made for the University of Oxford. Its recipe and design celebrate the history and current usage of the university’s extraordinary botanic garden – the oldest of its kind in the country founded in 1621 as a physicke (physic) garden for the teaching of herbal medicine. The Physic Gin is a blend of 25 botanicals including wormwood and sweet Woodruff.
