Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2009 is a prestigious release that is made entirely from Grand Crus in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions. The blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay is enhanced with the addition of 12% still red wines from Bouzy.
A slow maturation process ensures the champagne has reached optimal development. The 2009 vintage will have undergone over 12 years ageing in the Saint-Nicaise chalk cellars that date back to Gallo-Roman times. This maturation allows the champagne to reveal itself at its own pace with a most balanced expression.
