The village of Marsannay is located on a soil of clay and limestone site in the northern part of the CÎte de Nuits. The wine has deep pure aromas and a crunchy texture and after been aged in oak casks, the notes are clearly enhanced. The colour is a bright red ruby and the intense aromas of red berries mixed with spices are accompanied by a  texture framed by mouth coating tannins but without any harshness. The intensity is a perfect balance with the well-shaped structure and a long and refreshing aftertaste.
