This vintage Charles Heidsieck blends pure Chardonnay from 5 different Crus to create this prestigious Cuvee. The crus were carefully selected based on what characteristics they could add to the champagne: Vertus for its floral freshness; Oger for weight and creaminess; Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for balance; Cramant for complexity and ageability and Avize for minerality.
This Cuvee can be described as a masterpiece for the Côte des Blancs and has been aged for more than 15 years in the chalk cellars of Charles Heidsieck’s vineyard.
The Charles Heidsieck cellars are a Unesco World Heritage site and are made up of 8km of chalk tunnels that connect forty-seven subterranean cathedrals called Crayeres.
