To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the house, Leclerc Briant are paying tribute to its history by combining multiple vintages. 30% of the champagne comes from perpetual reserve wines that are held as still wine in concrete and then combined with the best champagnes in the cellar. In this case, this base is created using the 2008 and 2009 vintages.
This is then combined with the 2014 vintage and then aged on lees for 6 years to develop further complexity and richness. The result is a fiercely rare and complex champagne. Only 3000 bottles of this limited edition were produced and all are individually numbered.
