Amour de Deutz Blanc de Blanc 2010 is a pure, light Champagne with subtle bronze tints and a delicate thread of bubbles. The wine is silky and delicate yet remains very direct on the palate offering excellent cellaring potential and is a pure reflection of the Deutz style.
The Chardonnay for this wine hails from some of the Cote des Blancs’ finest vineyards including Avize, Mesnil and Oger with a touch hailing from the Montagne de Reims’ Villers-Marmery. The grapes were pressed and vinified at Deutz’s state of the art winery in Ay, with each individual parcel being vinified in its own separate tank. Using Coquard presses, only the free-run juice and first pressing was used for this wine.
